Crop Image

Crop a JPG, PNG or WebP using an exact rectangle measured in source-image pixels.

Preparing the tool…

Your selected files and entered values stay in this browser. The tool does not send them to ToolBino. Site analytics and consent settings are described in our Privacy Policy.

What does Crop Image do?

Crop a JPG, PNG or WebP using an exact rectangle measured in source-image pixels. It is designed for a focused task you can complete from a modern browser without creating an account. Start with the interactive controls above, then use this guide to understand the output and the cases where you should keep or use a different source file.

How to use this tool

Load an image and enter the left offset, top offset, width and height. Run the crop and inspect the preview before downloading. Once the result appears, check it before using the copy or download button. You can change the inputs and run the operation again; the original input is not overwritten.

A practical example

For a 1200 × 800 photo, a centered 800 × 800 crop starts at left 200 and top 0. The rectangle must remain within the original image.

Limits and important trade-offs

This tool uses numeric coordinates rather than a draggable crop box. It does not detect faces or protect important content automatically.

Pixels, file size and visual quality

Pixel dimensions describe how many samples an image contains. File size describes how many bytes are required to store them. Changing one does not produce a fixed change in the other: a detailed photograph is harder to compress than a plain background. Begin with the dimensions your destination actually needs, then evaluate compression at the size where people will view the result.

JPG is a lossy format and cannot preserve transparent pixels. This tool uses a white background when producing JPG output. A very low quality setting can introduce blocks around letters and fine edges. Avoid repeatedly opening and recompressing the same exported JPG; return to the original when trying another setting. Browser conversion may also change color handling and omit metadata, so it is not a color-managed professional print workflow.

Check the result before uploading

Look at small writing, faces, outlines and any information that must remain readable. Open the downloaded file in another viewer and confirm its dimensions and byte size against the destination rules. A file that passes an upload limit can still be unsuitable if an identity number or diagram label became unreadable. Input is limited to 25 MB and 40 million pixels, and output dimensions are bounded to protect browser memory.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account or a subscription?

No account is needed for this browser utility. You can run it from this page, review the output and download or copy the result. File limits protect device memory rather than unlocking a paid tier.

Does the tool upload my input?

The tool processes input locally in this tab. It does not send selected files, pasted text or calculator values to ToolBino. Loading the website and its ordinary analytics are separate; consult the site’s privacy and cookie information for those services.

What should I do if the result is unexpected?

Check the documented limits above, try the worked example, and verify the input format or units. Keep your original until you have checked the result. Reset clears the current tool state; reloading or closing the tab also discards unsaved tool input.
